The Clinic offers treatment of all basic disorders belonging to the field of non-orthopedic surgery.

THE CLINIC SPECIALIZES IN MINIMALLY INVASIVE SURGERY

We perform laparoscopy in treatment of the following disorders:

  • esophaegal reflux,
  • hiatal hernia surgeries – laparoscopic fundoplication,
  • cardiochalasia – laparoscopic Heller myotomy,
  • inguinal hernia surgeries – using the transperitoneal method
  • large intestine operations in mild and neoplastic diseases – laparoscopic resection of the large intestine, laparoscopic resection of the rectum,
  • chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer - Bilateral thoracoscopic splanchnicectomy

Other forms of activity:

  • The Clinic implements numerous research projects within the framework of research programmes of the Postgraduate Medical Education Centre, as well as clinical tests of new drugs and procedures.
  • The Clinic organizes trainings for doctors participating in specialization programmes in the fields of general surgery, gastroenterological surgery, and thyroid gland disorders.
  • Basic surgery trainings for doctors participating in specialization programmes in the fields of family medicine, urology, gynecology, geriatrics.

Individual course in laparoscopic surgery

We invite you to participate in an individual 5-day course in laparoscopic surgery. The course has been approved by the National Consultant for General Surgery as an extracurricular performance improvement course.
The Course is organized both for specialization students and surgeons, who would like to improve and develop their laparoscopic techniques.
During the course, you will become familiar with practical aspects of laparoscopy, as well as the essential theoretic knowledge concerning the operations performed at our Clinic.
During the course, we provide access to training simulators and the possibility of assisting during laparoscopic surgeries, including, hiatal hernia surgeries, achalasia surgeries, cardiachalasia surgeries, inguinal hernia and postoperative hernia surgeries, surgeries of pathological lesions of the large intestine, acute abdomen surgeries and diagnostic surgeries. Institute of Endoscopy and Diagnostics of the Gastrointestinal Tract

At the Endoscopy Lab, we perform endoscopic diagnostics and treatment as follows:

  • Gastroscopy
  • Colonoscopy with anesthesia,
  • Dilation of the esophagus
  • Polypectomia of the stomach and the large intestine
  • PEG – transdermal endoscopic gastrostomy
  • EUS – endoscopic ultrasonography of the gastrointestinal tract.

Registration for tests:

  1. Gastroscopy: every day, phone number: +48 022 58-41-241 from 8 a.m to 2 p.m. or in person.
  2. Other tests: registration every day in person at the Endoscopy Lab from 10 a.m to 2 p.m.

All treatments are performed within the framework of a contract with the National Health Fund

A condition of performance of examination by our lab is having the appropriate referral.
